Conversion of the College’s outdoor spaces in Oeiras

This project was carried out in partnership with the Architect Miguel Arruda and consisted of reconverting the outdoor spaces to support the nursery area.

Given that the entire school is surrounded by a sporadic car circulation route, which for safety reasons it was mandatory to maintain, the intervention had as a conceptual basis, dematerialize asphalted road as much as possible and converting it into a transition space for the areas of support. The organic forms that were implanted in the green spaces, broke the hardness of the limits of the paved road, now sinuous and contaminated by paintings referring to games and games for children.
