Nursery in Carnaxide

This project consisted of providing an existing space in Carnaxide, with the necessary conditions to function as a day care center.

The conceptual strategy started from the creation of a large central void of circular shape intercepted by the 4 distribution corridors, all with different dimensions and shapes. The result would be a central scenario with a sculptural dimension, in which tunnels of different shapes appeared around a large central pillar converted into the cuckoo tree.
