Multifunctional Building in Bissau
It was the client’s premise to fill the absence in Bissau of a building with a multifunctional component.
Conceptually, a disruptive building was proposed in the architectural panorama of Guinea but adapted to the scale and traditions of the place.
The intervention would consist of joining housing units, offices, restaurants and the predisposition for cultural events on the ground floor.
Particular attention was paid to the control of sun exposure, the capacity for natural ventilation and respect for African traditions in terms of construction.
